My CWS Friday off is a holiday. How is this reflected on my timecard?

You will record 8 hours on the actual holiday and 1 hour of leave, as you do on holidays that are not on your CWS day. The day prior will be your “CWS Friday off,” thus, no hours will need to be recorded on that day. Since your “CWS Friday off” moved to a normal 9 hour day, you will need to “make up” the additional hour. Non-exempt employees may use one hour of vacation, may work an extra hour within the workweek the holiday is observed, or may use Leave Without Pay (LWOP). Exempt employees may use one hour of vacation or may request to work an extra hour within the timesheet period the holiday is observed.
