Federal and state regulations require trainings that employers must deliver to employees. Some regulations depend on a company size, too. As a government contractor, we are obligated to provide certain types of trainings to our employees. These include: annual anti-harassment and security refresher.
In addition, AMEWAS has its own set of trainings for employees to complete in accordance to our Information Security policies (computer network & usage) as well as our ISO 900) family and CMMI certifications (quality management).
In other words, in order to stay compliant with federal, state, contractual regulations and our certifications (which are required for us to perform work on certain contracts as well), we provide trainings to our employees.
AMEWAS may also deliver different types of trainings that may be beneficial for employees to understand our policies and practices.
The government (customer), if you are direct, may have requirements for you to complete their trainings as well; AMEWAS does not have a say in this and does not track or manage. Reach out to your supervisor or program manager if you have any questions about government (customer)-required training.
