401k Plans
Employees are eligible for the 401k Plan the first of the month following their hire date. There is no service requirement! This is unlike many other organizations. Once eligible, AMEWAS will contribute an amount based on 3% of an employee’s salary, regardless of the individual’s 401k contribution. This matching contribution will be 100% immediately vested.
Education Reimbursement
AMEWAS considers education and training important elements in both personal development and company growth and therefore offers generous education and training reimbursement benefits.
Education Benefits have a 12-month ceiling of $4,000 with reimbursements paid based on the course grades.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexable Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow employees to set aside money through pre-tax payroll deductions that can be used for healthcare expenses not reimbursed by an insurance policy, or for dependant care expenses provided by a licensed daycare facility.
Service Awards and Bonuses
AMEWAS has designed a system to reward employees for their longevity. Employees who achieve 5, 10, and 15 years of service are honored at our Annual Anniversary Ceremony. These employees receive handsome gifts based on their years of service. Also, to show appreciation for outstanding performance, AMEWAS may reward an employee with a discretionary mid year and/or year-end bonus. These bonuses are one of the many ways AMEWAS expresses its appreciation for the support and dedication of its valued employees.
Paid Leave Programs
AMEWAS’s generous paid leave programs feature:
- Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay
- Bereavement leave
- Parental leave
- Reservist military leave
- Leave-sharing program to donate PTO hours to co-workers in need

Reactive Simulation
Our understanding and experience in operational environments is multi-dimensional. We have years of experience integrating weapon systems, sensors, and humans to simulated environments in support of concept evaluations, installed system testing, and distributed simulation exercises. Assets integrated into the simulations include aircraft and aircraft systems, pilot crewstations, simulated C4ISR consoles, control center positions and deployed versions of Air Force and Navy C41 systems, including mission planning and rehearsal systems.
ACETEF Support
AMEWAS, Inc. provides system design, integration, technician and operator support to the Navy’s ACETEF facility and similar functions to some of its customers. Our efforts include the introduction and integral use of C4I systems (including mission planning systems) in a simulation-supported acquisition RDT&E process. We design, develop, and participate in operationally relevant and realistic real-time, mission level simulations supporting RDT&E projects and distributed simulation technology demonstrations.
