AMEWAS, Inc. is a privately held, veteran-owned small business located in California, Maryland within 5 miles of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

We have a long-standing partnership and an excellent working relationship with several elements of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Department of Defense (DoD), providing a host of Program Management, Engineering, Technical and Administrative support services.

 Facility Information

 
Inclement weather is predicted for the East Coast, so a quick reminder to all AMEWAS employees:
 
Make sure you have your supervisor’s and Program Manager’s contact information and keep them informed of your intentions.
Monitor the AMEWAS website for pertinent information related to base closures or delayed arrival/early departure.
Monitor the status of NAS Patuxent River by calling (301) 342-2273 (BASE).
  • If an announcement is made that calls for a delayed arrival, employees are permitted to arrive late.
  • If an announcement is made that calls for an early departure, employees are permitted to depart early.
  • If the base is Closed or has Restricted Access, non-essential personnel are not required (and may not be permitted) to report for work.
 If an employee arrives late, departs early, or does not report for work, Annual Leave, Banked Holidays, or Leave Without Pay must be used.
Employees may NOT charge directly to any contract if they do not work on tasking directly related to the contract.
